The balance of the 2009...

The 2009 was a big step for me because I arrived to the University, it meant me to study hard. In the beginning I didn´t know nothing about the classmates, professors and the subjects that I had to pass. For this, it wasn´t easy, the road there was difficulties mainly in the second term. However, thanks at my family and the people that I knew within of the faculty the academic year was most light. Nevertheless, today I think that the second and upper years are one-hundred times most difficult. Now, the balance of the last year is....

In the first term, I knew many people that now, they are my friends.It´s difficult to explain my academic situation because we had free time for make many things, and in this moments I relax and it can to play in against, and almost occur. However, I managed to pass difficult subjects for me like chemistry and maths, in special zoology. On the other hand, I think that my average was poor, because the majority it was around the 4.0 and for this, I can´t feel very good. But, this was my motivation for demonstrate my abilities and why I had arrived at the faculty.

The second term, I arrived with desires until I knew the subjects that I will have. For me, in this term started the true reality of the university, I can´t the same time of the first term and I felt tired some weeks. The subjects turned more difficults and I had to dedicate most time for the study. Subjects such as Anatomy, Biology and Biochemistry were “the stone in the road”, but in final of the semester, I felt rewarded for my work. It increased my average compared with the previous semester.

In conclusion, I passed all my subjects, it is a important thing, considering the level and difficult of our university. In spite of the everything I feel good in the university because it is the career that I always wanted it and this motivation isn´t compared with the adversities. I wait that the upper semesters I will pass the subjects. Finally, I have many friends in the univesity that make most pleasant to go to the university.

The Challenges????

Today it´s not easy talk about challenges considering the many areas you can include in any work. It´s complex mentions the challenges, because even we not have direct contact with the reality of our career. However, I believe that we take some notion that it will provide us.

The technology is a important topic which we can use in each case. The Medicine Veterinary for belong at biological science use many instruments that it warm satisfactory results. It´s need in many aplications like clinical cases, surgeries, but I think the principal area where is necessary is the investigation. It requires renovation constantly, it searching to improve for obtain better results. Although, the sanity and accuracy, apart of doing the steps without error, it´s not only for qualities of the doctor, besides for the grade instruments used.

The increasing popularity of our career in the last years, it has gone interesting at the people and be aware to protect and to take care the pets and animals in general. The population is worried for the well-being animal. In fact, the numbers of consultations increased. It for this, we have to improve and specialize itself. It´s not enough with graduated, it´s neccesary a specialization about your preferred area. Besides, considering the quantity of professionals in labor world, the challenge increases each year. The search of areas less explored it may be a solution today.

In general, the different areas neccesaries in the Medicine Veterinary, we will need the knowledge of this issues and always to be adapted at requeriments of the society and advances of the science trying we should always stay competitive.

The illegal turtle harvesting in Madagascar...

A year-long survey has releaved the caught world´s rares turtles in a one are of Madagascar. In this work, it´s show the level of explotation it. Before there isn´t studies about the turtles because the catches just one part and this place have difficult access. It is important the investigation because someone turtles are an endangered species and besides find the region por working with the villages and avoid the catches.

The investigation started in Toliara, part of remote south-western region of Madagascar, with the team trained villagers of Broderick (she led this survey, of the Centre for Ecology and Conservation), they crossed the coastline (60 km) collected and photographing; they documented 699 turtles, the majority were green turtles, the specie most common, but the catch includes hawksbill turtle (endangered).

Many species of turtles are incluided in the IUCN red list of endangered species. In Madagascar there are presidential decree about explotation of all marine turtles. In spite, the laws aren´t enforced because of lack of capacity for implementation along the enormous leght of the coastline.

About Frances Humber, the captured of turtles is very important for meat in the culture of coastal populations, but they understand the ensuring of this resource. Other important thing is the use of product, whether the harvest is for subsistence or for markets commercial. The conclusion is difficult because in countries in developing is common the consume and it makes difficult the conservation of endangered species.

Improving my Faculty...

Our faculty is a place that I like very much, because aside of have room of classes, library, labs and apartments of many subjects, it have green areas and recreations places. In spite of, have many problems.

There are many problems that it isn´t improved, such as sport´s infrastructure, few rooms; besides it is unacceptable that in one room there are more than 150 students; improve the security (considering the last success: the robery of one library screen´s computer); and mainly the schedule of classes because it´s a madness, we can´t realize our practices when have class of someone subject.

The improving that they may incorporate more rooms, a gym that includes fields of soccer and basketball, galleries, exercise´s machines, ping pong tables and your respective instruments. Other case is the number of students in the classes room, I think that there are two or three courses per level. Other thing is the security, they may allow the entrance only of students and personal of the faculty.

The last and most important problem is the schedule of classes, I believe that is a point without soltions for the dean and faculty´s personal, they could changes the number of years of the career or other drastic thing.

In conclusion, I wish the improving before mentioned for the faculty and for we would be more better than now.

My favourite film...

It´s difficult choose someone movie because there are a lot, but in this case I talk about "Saving Private Ryan". The director is the famous Steven Spielberg, who adapted the history about a real event, the Second World War. This film is a drama genre.

Saving Private Ryan talks about a mother that have four sons (Ryan brothers) and three have died on battle´s field, one in the Pacific Ocean and the two others in Normandie Disembarkation. The last brother can´t die, because your mother will be very very sad. For this reason, a patrol or a group of privates have the mission to find at the last Ryan during the war. The mission´s captain is John Miller played by Tom Hanks. But, it´s not easy to find him, there are discussions and fights between privates because they thinks it´s a stupid mission. During the movie, it´s possible watch how is the war, with death, murders, tortures, sufferings and many others things wrongs. After of search for many campaments, they find the private Ryan but there is a problem...it´s the WAR!!!... and the attack of enemies complicate all. Now, have the mission to remain with life at private!!...The finish can you watch it xDD...

In conclusion, I recommend this movie because there are action, a little of blood and it´s a good history...I like it in spite of I prefer the horror movies jijijijiiji...

The Penguin!!! :D

My Favourite animal is the Penguin. Many persons likes others types of animals like tigers, lions eagles or someone most agressive and wild. But in my case, I prefer the penguin. Nobody can imagine how I started to like this animal, but it`s true. It can sound funny, since I captured a teddy of penguin in a teddy`s machine when I was child, I began to interesting the penguins.

The penguins are animals that it lives in the Antartic, South Pole. Your food is fish mainly and it are excelent swimmers, who it can reach 90 km/hour in the sea. In general, I loved because it`s one of the few or the only bird that can`t fly (an adaptation) and can swim. There are many species but always I seen with admiration the Emperor Penguin, it`s the most bigger into the species of penguins and it`s very pretty.

In Chile there are some species in the south, and that it is cool. I not need to travel any other country for investigate it. But I wish to go the South Pole and study better others that I can`t find here.

In conclusion, I love this animals for your fantastic adaptation that it`s turn in a strange animal. I wish some day I can investigate and I transform in a penguin`s expert :D...

Santiago!!!...

Santiago is a big city with many atractions if you are foreign that you can visit. If I have to choose five places should be...

Plaza Italia: it`s the place where Chile and the people celebrates yours triumphs of sports or others importants success. Besides, here is for me the principal or most known place into Santiago.

Vega Central: this place is where you can find the better food of Santiago, many seafood, vegetables, meats and it`s cheap...You don`t worry for this problem...

Piojera: place where you can enjoy, talk and drink the famous "earthquake" (I love it jijijiji..) with yours friends and stay good time.

Estadio Nacional: where realize the matchs of Chile on the classification to World Cup; besides matchs like "classic" between Colo Colo (the most popular team) versus Universidad de Chile´s team ( "the mothers "); events about groups of music and "fondas" on the national celebration.

National Park Río Clarillo: it´s a beautiful natural park, you can do campingand others activities like excursions into the park and you see the flora and fauna.

In conclusion, Santiago is a great city if you have free time in the summer.

Death Penalty! :O

It´s difficult talk about the death penalty for everyone but in my case, I don´t know, I have two thoughts. It´s complicated explain my opinion but I try to do it.

I think that nobody have the power or can decide if you may die or not. In my opinion, the only who can make is God because my religion learned me and my family too. However, today the people is very very bad and each week we can watch in TV many persons attacking, killing, robbing and others crimes, the worse is that people not feel regret. By this I changing my opinion progressively and now, I don´t know exactly that I believe. I feel that the mankind don´t worry for others, they don´t have respect for the people around them and in this case, I always ask myself, it´s neccesary have respect to this people???...It´s my question that I can´t find the answer.

In conclusion, I can say that it´s a point divergent for me because I don´t know what is better for all.Besides, it´s difficult homework for the countries decide if it is good or bad.

Egypt!!!!!!!!!...

Egypt, I think that it`s mystic country and your people too. I can`t explain the sensation at pronunciate Egypt, my mind flies and I believe if I go to Egypt could return at past, when created the pyramids and made the complete history about pharaohs and how he dead and undertaken in this main structures. Besides, I think that I am explorer and I have to discover the trust of each pyramid. It`s difficult imagine me in middle of a desert, the sand around me, I seeing the "Esfinge" and many others pyramids near.

I sometimes think where I travel if I would have money, and I never convince completely about some country because many have pretty places, naturals or artificial, but Egypt, your old civilization it`s a miracle because it is a place where the life won`t exist. Other thing that I like, it`s your mystery and all things hidden behind the walls or floors; your "jeroglíficos" with pictures interesting me.

Since I watched documentaries about this country, my first option when I want travel it`s will be Egypt because have a set of things that in others countries there isn`t. Finally, if you want to travel and you wish invite me, please we go to Egypt :D .

Transantiago!!!!!!!

The famous Transantiago is our transport system sometimes loved and sometimes hated. This new system has changed the form of moving. Use new bus, better tecnology, major security and many qualitys positives, however it remains things wrongs.

Transantiago in the begins had many fouls that it makes to think will be a disaster. But, little by little was improving and so quiet the people. Implemented services and personal for security on the subway, new stop bus with aditional information for users. Today, in my case I fell that can arrive at all places of Santiago thanks that new system; I have necesary information. In spite of, we need more things. For example: my friends lives in the other extrem of Santiago and I move by bus and subway, but in the hours with main traffic or more people on streets, it`s difficult go on to the underground, the people pass to be angry and I arrived late it. It`s one things that may change.

The old system there were more than wrongs Transantiago. The bus drivers challenging to get persons and turned dangerous because they ran very faster. On the other hand, there were poor information about destine. Besides, it was complex the form to pay compared with the BIP card.

In conclusion, I can say was a main reform in the transport but always will be improve. I think that may put more money in this system for to be like a Europe`s city and we will be happy!!.

Experiences during 2010.

In the last semester, I can developed many activities related sports with my friends of the school.
We want to learn other sport apart from the football and we thinking to practice tennis in the establishment of exercise, where there are many clay tennis fields. We decided to play because my friend have a neighbor that is owner of this establishment and he discount of price for use the field.
We tries to meet all weekends for play.

On the other hand, the university it changed the exigency of the subjects and almost we can`t have free time for doing other activities into of week. The only option was on the weekend but it very short.
The subjects like anatomy or physiology were the subjects most difficult for exempt. I had to lose many days for study this. I was scarred. Finally I approve all the subjects.
In spite of this subjects, I fun very much and I think that I use to time totally.
I like to feel me ocupate.

Finally, the last semester was very good for me because I can known more people in the university and could meet us.
